Robert, a Harvard graduate, was diagnosed in 2000 with ALS. He lost his battle with the disease on March 17, 2004 at the age of 49. There are many things I can tell you about him that would amaze you; however, there is one primary reason I started this fund. That reason was to assist his then ten-year old daughter Dominique Luongo with her future education.
Through our annual event and your support, we are able to make a difference in peoples' lives. One- hundred percent of our donations go towards patient care, such as wheelchairs, access ramps, chairlifts, and conversion vans for transportation. We provide scholarships to ALS victims' children as well as annual contributions for ALS research.
